Project Overview

This is a stormwater detention basin / flood control project for the Harris County Flood Control District. The work includes excavation and clearing for Detention Basin 1B, creating a wet-bottom detention basin, side slopes, maintenance berm, access improvements, outlet/outfall drainage work, hydroseeding, concrete driveways, manholes, riprap, and related site restoration

   Mobilization & Site Prep

   Mobilize equipment, install erosion controls, establish construction access, and prepare the detention basin work area.

2. ● Active · Q2–Q3 2026
   learing & Excavation

   Clear the work area, excavate the stormwater detention basin, haul off excess material, and begin rough grading.

3. Upcoming · Q3–Q4 2026
   Basin Construction & Drainage Improvements

   Shape basin slopes, install drainage-related improvements, concrete access items, riprap, and slope protection.

4. Upcoming · Q4 2026–Q1 2027
   Stabilization & Final Restoration

   Complete final grading, hydroseeding, turf establishment, erosion control cleanup, and final site restoration.
